Sir Michael Stoute's juveniles are running well at present and so we will take a chance with his newcomer Cantabria, Halfwaytoparadise and Jeanmaire may be the pick of the experienced runners. Mr Stoute has sent out two debutante winners recently in this age group and Cantabria certainly looks the part on paper. She is a daughter of Dansili who is related to the very good sprinter Deportivo. She will no doubt know what is required and over a perfect trip should go well. Halfwaytoparadise showed plenty of promise on her Newmarket debut when chasing home Crystal Air. She will no doubt improve for the run and will be difficult to keep out of the money. Jeanmaire is from a yard that isn't renowned for having precocious juveniles but this one did run well here behind Nantyglo and should be in the shake up. Money for Amanda Perrett's Emphasis would be significant, but on this occasion we will side with Cantabria.
Cantabria Dansili filly, half-sister to Group 2 winning sprinter Deportivo.
Emphasis Pivotal filly out of 7f winner Matoaka.
