Verdict

Richard Fahey's Glenns Princess has run well in two outings over five furlongs and has to be respected but she may not be suited by the stiffer test today and preference is for stable companion HEARTBREAK, with the main danger rated as Kingscroft. Mark Johnston's colt showed improved form from his debut outing when running a close third in a Newmarket maiden last month and he should be thereabouts again judged by that effort. James Given has his string in good heart at present and his representative, Ajaafa, has to be considered having run to a decent level of form in the same grade as today in two races over course and distance. Ben Haslam's Norwegian Liberty made a promising debut in a Beverley maiden last month and has claims as does Mick Easterby's Thirteen Shivers, who ran better at the same venue recently. Preference though is for Richard Fahey's Heartbreak, who has run to a decent level of form in races in this grade at Hamilton and Wolverhampton and he can give the Fahey/Hanagan combination another winner.
