Verdict
ITHINKBEST will be a popular choice for many and is given the vote ahead of Mr Rainbow and Capponi. Sir Michael Stoute is not a frequent visitor to Carlisle but when he does send a horse he usually goes home with some silver wear. The selection won back to back races at Pontefract and Wolverhampton last season and even though the handicapper took action he has continued to perform well off his current mark. This stiff seven furlongs ought to suit and with luck in running he will not be far away come the business end of the race. Top weight Mr Rainbow broke his maiden tag first time of asking back in October and was back in the winners enclosure at Warwick last time out on only his fourth start. His career is looking promising but with five more pounds on his back life will prove to be tougher for him from now on. Capponi is another with promise having won on is debut and only just failing to follow up in his first handicap at Southwell last time out having dwelt at the start. He again has been raised a further five pounds and the handicapper could have him where he wants him for the time being. Ithinkbest has more to give and looks the percentage call.
