Requinto Dawn was more like his old self at Pontefract last month but has been raised 2lb for that effort so the one to be on looks to be KENNY THE CAPTAIN. Tim Easterby’s dual course and distance winner looked to be running into form when last seen a couple of months ago and is undoubtedly well treated at present. Madrinho hasn’t been running badly and is eased in grade. he’s now only a pound higher than when last successful on Turf so can’t be ignored. Bowson Fred is hard to catch right but wasn’t disgraced at Thirsk on Saturday when racing down the centre of the track.
