Witness In Court won at Sedgefield before finishing third at Musselburgh but it's not certain that today's drop in distance will suit, though he will handle the better ground. Rocknrollrambo was third at Ffos Las on his first start for Anthony Middleton and should be pressing for a place again while Big Water's second to Duke Of Navan at Kelso in January is clearly decent form and he shouldn't be far away. However, Alan Swinbank's charge was beaten half-a-length by SCARLET FIRE in a Newcastle bumper last season and the latter hasn't done a lot wrong over hurdles so far. The quicker surface could see him improve on his fourth at Musselburgh to take this.
