In depth

Verdict

Morning Royalty has won three races since arriving from Ireland, all on this track. He's been racing in better company and should make a bold bid. Moscow Me was well supported for a Leicester handicap in December and duly obliged. A 5lb rise for this lower-class contest isn't excessive though he's never raced on ground this testing. DR MOLONEY showed his liking for the conditions when just touched off at Down Royal last week. He's not badly handicapped nowadays and this looks a good opportunity. Freddies Portrait makes his chasing debut but has run well over hurdles here on heavy going so looks one to watch.
