In depth

Verdict

There should be more to come from TOUS CHEZ and he may be able to answer the questions posed by Manadam and Malko De Beaumont amongst others. The last named of the trio seems sure to run his race as he comes here in good form and has conditions to suit but he is vulnerable. Julius Caesar is worth keeping an eye on on debut for Ferdy Murphy whilst the presence of McCoy aboard Akilak is certain to suck some people in. Manadam won both of his chase starts in France but unseated on his only run over fences for his current connections; he may not have stayed on his reappearance over hurdles but should strip fitter now and is one to keep on your side. Oso Magic has a decent record at the track and a run to his name but we're prepared to take a chance on his stablemate being ready for his return. That shouldn't be a problem as he won first time out at this track despite his absence since falling at Wetherby when still in contention. That was just his fourth start over fences and he definitely has a future at this game. The concern is his stamina which he has to prove here but his sire produces plenty of stayers and we'll take the chance that Tous Chez will last home.
