In depth
Verdict
This should rest between Countess Camilla and Supreme Lass, with the former just preferred. Kim Bailey's mare bounced right back to her best when landing the Haydock qualifier in great style by ten lengths from Our Dream. The trainer stated afterwards that she would be going to the final of this event and she can land this en route. The only apparent danger to the selection is Supreme Lass who came back to form last month when chasing home Sara Monica at Sedgefield. However she is rated around 30 pounds inferior to the selection so does look up against it at today's weights. Of the others Lady Bob Back and Shady Grey have shown a modicum of ability but neither should be able to trouble Countess Camilla who is our confident choice.
