    Verdict

This is quite a poor handicap to end the card and it gives Toni Alcala a chance to gain an overdue success, Tomasino and Keepers Knight look the main rivals. The selection is a versatile performer when it comes to ground and trip and he ran his usual solid race when finishing a close up third behind Best Port at Catterick last time. His last victory came off a mark of 73 last August, so on his current rating he is entitled land an event such as this. Tomasino is not the most consistent of animals, but did win nicely here last month. If on a going day he should be involved in the finish. Keepers Knight on the other hand can always be relied on to put in his best work and on a line through Prairie Sun holds a strong chance against the selection. Villago is the pick of the others on last years form, but off today's mark it is hard to get away from the chances of Toni Alcala.
