Verdict
Howards Tipple, Durova and Sunnyside Tom are the three to look at here and preference is for Sunnyside Tom. Tim Easterby may feel he has found a winning opportunity for Durova. Mind you, the punters felt the same the last time she ran in what appeared to be a bad race at Musselburgh, where she was made long odds-on favourite but could finish only third, suggesting that she was regressing rather than progressing. Sunnyside Tom was slowly away on his debut at York and was not totally disgraced in finishing sixth of eight. He is well related, being a half brother to two juvenile winners over six furlongs and can be expected to go well. Ian Semple's Howards Tipple has shown steady progression in three starts to date and in this class must go well, only beaten a length in a similar contest at Hamilton. Paul Hanagan's mount Sunnyside Tom may be good enough.
