      Verdict

      Wing Commander, Bolton Hall and William John may well dominate this tricky affair with the vote going to last time out winner William John. Wing Commander won in game fashion at Ayr last time but his previous form had been moderate and it was something of a surprise. A six pound penalty may be prohibitive. In contrast, William John has been running well of late. Tried over a variety of trips, he made the most of a good opportunity here last time. That was only a small affair but he is only four pounds higher, and this slightly longer trip should not hinder him. At one point Bolton Hall was a top juvenile but his form this season has been poor until a much improved effort at Galway last time. The form is hard to evaluate but a watching brief is advised here despite his coming down the handicap. William John gets the nod to follow up that Ayr win.
