Baby Ballerina was well ahead of Ingleby Valley when winning her maiden last year and won a handicap over 7f at Thirsk recently. Indian Pursuit finished runner-up in the other division of the same handicap at Thirsk with Strummer and Bahrikate well beaten but it could pay to stick with PORTLAND STREET. Bryan Smart’s charge opened his account with a win in this grade at Ripon and is also preferred to Hamilton maiden winner Bay Mirage, who was well beaten back in a handicap last time.
