It was soft ground when Lexi's Boy won at Haydock last month and he’s been beaten off today’s mark subsequently. Bell Weir was hurdling for the first half of this year and returned to the Flat with a win at Ayr earlier this month while Scarpeta was upped in class at Newmarket last time but won on the Turf at Lingfield previously. TRENDSETTER wasn't beaten far when fourth at Chester last time and can race off the same mark. John Quinn’s charge may prove good enough though better is also expected from Hardstone dropping down a grade for this.
