In depth
Verdict
Wet Lips has the ability to land this, with Impish Jude, Another Dude and Forest Tune expected to be the main dangers. Wet Lips has probably been pulled out of more races than he has actually taken part in this season since coming from Australia, but proved his worth when making all at Musselburgh under a canny ride from Henry Oliver. A seven-pound penalty put paid to his chances of following up at Kempton but in this company he will be fancied to get back to winning ways. Impish Jude was in touch when falling three out at Fontwell last time but goes well on a right-handed track and if none the worse for that spill, can play a prominent role in proceedings. Another Dude was pulled up last time and may struggle with his weight, but Forest Tune will be fit from the Flat and may be more at home back over timber and should not be ruled out of a place. However, as long as the ground remains good, Wet Lips can see them all off from the front.
