Verdict
A wideopen handicap here and many could have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Dubai Venture, Todman Avenue and Sporting Gesture and the confident vote is given to Dubai Venture. The selection was a good second behind Ounimpoja last time out. He runs off the same mark here and he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Sporting Gesture rates the main danger as he won with plenty in hand when beating Dune Raider last time out. However he has yet to win off a mark this high and the suspicion is that the handicapper may have caught up with him. Todman Avenue is another worthy of respect on his best form but he was very disappointing for no apparent reason last time so can not be put forward with any confidence. Tempsford has the ability to go close but he may just need the run after a 317 day absence out and for the winner we return to Dubai Venture whose form looks rock solid.
