Verdict
Hollows Mill gets the call in the final race, with his biggest dangers seen as Lauderdale (if he runs) and Posh Stick. The selection has won his last two races, and much as he has risen nine pounds in the ratings as a consequence, the opposition is not strong and he looks a more-solid proposition in terms of attitude than some of his rivals. Impertio has become disappointing, and College City's overall form makes him hard to fancy. Lauderdale won well at Newcastle two runs ago and followed that up with a fair effort last time and is respected, although he was entered to run on Saturday. Much as Posh Stick had a sighter over hurdles last time and has won over fences, her first foray into handicaps over the larger obstacles was not auspicious, which spins us back to Hollows Mill, who holds very solid claims in the finale.
