        Verdict

        Katie Gale has been in good form on the all-weather and today’s distance is no problem while Hediddodinthe won over 2m at Newcastle last month but was returned a losing favourite at the same track last time. Uptown Funk finished well ahead of Question Of Faith, who notched up a hat-trick last year, when placed at over 2m Ripon recently but had earlier finished behind BECKY THE THATCHER at Pontefract. The latter has won three times over hurdles and may well record her first success on the Flat today having just missed out over a longer trip at Pontefract last month.
