In depth

Verdict

Paul Gallagher has been doing well for Howard Johnson and MONTOYA'S SON looks another for the partnership. A decent enough novice hurdler, he made a fair start over fences behind Harry Flashman at Hexham and wouldn't need to improve much to go one better. Big Burrows looked promising when scoring on fast ground at Sedgefield last May but his jumping has let him down subsequently. A clear round will see him go close but Currahee blundered his way round Sedgefield last week and will need to jump a great deal better to get competitive.
