Verdict

Ferdy Murphy has entrusted Tony Kelly with some good rides today and Sue Smith takes advantage of his claim on board FINAL VETO, who made a winning start over fences at Hexham last month and heads straight into handicap company on what could prove to be a lenient mark. He may just have too much class for Nicky Tam, who looked on good terms with himself when beating Charming Knight at Hexham but has a 5lb rise to contend with. Dollar Mick has had very little experience but was made favourite at Newcastle last time where he never got going after being impeded early in the race.
