In depth
Verdict
Tandava has yet to fully prove that he is effective over today's trip and preference is for Kupka, who gets the vote over See You There. The selection looked useful when making a winning debut over course and distance in October and has not been disgraced in two starts since then over longer trips. The return to 2m4f may bring about a return to winning ways for the son of Rakaposhi King, who will not mind any further rain. Lucinda Russell's See You There did all that was asked of him when making a winning start to his career here over the extended three miles first time out and the son of Religiously might not be so effective back over today's shorter trip. Richard Fahey's Pendle Forest has shown enough to suggest that he can win a small race and has to be respected along with Bywell Beau, who showed promise in bumpers and has been campaigned over further in two starts over hurdles. Kupka holds solid claims though and he gets the vote.
