In depth

Verdict

HELM ROCK has already rewarded the Kubler yard with a course win and the Pivotal gelding once again makes the journey north from his Berkshire base. His recent win came over 7f on soft ground and his finishing effort that day indicated this additional furlong should not prove an inconvenience. He looks a progressive type. Beechwood Emily and Ayr Empress provide the Dalgleish team with a strong hand and are preferred in that order, whilst Vindobala's Redcar success on her penultimate start brings her into the equation.
