        Verdict

        Wild Cane Ridge won his two starts in bumpers in good fashion and is taken to make a winning start to his hurdling career at the main expense of Abzuson and Isellido. The last mentioned made a pleasing debut at Kelso earlier this month when belying her odds of 66/1 to finish third behind Sobraon and has to be respected. Point-to-point recruits Caipiroska and The Reverend are both interesting contenders representing the stables of Ferdy Murphy and Howard Johnson respectively. Chris Grant's Time Spin showed ability last term and has experience on his side along with Abzuson but Wild Cane Ridge looked an exciting prospect in winning his bumpers and can make a winning debut over hurdles.
