Verdict
Another wide open contest for this staying chase and a headache for punters with many in form rivals in opposition but the main protagonists appear to be Hurricane Bay, Sunday Habits and Little Brown Bear and we will take a chance on Hurricane Bay. The seven-year-old won well at Wetherby last time out when defeating Strongtrooper and although he has risen in the weights for that win he won in the style of an improver and he could be still ahead of the handicapper. Little Brown Bear is another in form but he gave the impression his busy season was catching up with him when he was fifth behind Johnston's Art last time. Sunday Habits is another worthy of consideration. He is proven on the ground but a row of four cosecutive efforts casts a doubt over his attitude. Of the remainder Carnacrack is a course and distance winner but his best form is with more cut in the ground. Iron Express has dropped to a handy mark but he has become very disappointing of late so we are happy to stick with Hurricane Bay.
