In depth
Verdict
Local handler James Moffatt always has his string primed for Lake District meetings but makes things hard for punters by running three. However, underrated conditional Charlotte Jones is presumably on the stable preferred in ALQAMAR (NAP), an ex-Godolphin inmate who's hacked up in uncompetitive maiden and novice company. This is a sterner test but he looks useful and can make it three on the bounce on handicap bow. Stable companions Golden Town and Oakmont are respected but Iolani has gone close the last twice and looks a likelier source of danger under Page Fuller. Recent Market Rasen winner, Pateen, is a possible too from 3lb out of the weights.
