        Verdict

        Mt Desert gets the confident vote tom win the finale with Greenfort Brave and Red Scally and rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair third in a better race behind Brads House last time out, that form looks rock solid in the context of this race and with this sharper track also in his favour he is impossible to oppose. Greenfort Brave rates the main danger on his latest sixth behind Granite Man but he remains a maiden after 20 attempts so can not be put forward with any confidence. Red Scally is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Baton Belle in a bumper he is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over longer trip. Of the remainder Oakendale is unexposed and should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Mt Desert who will be hard to beat.
