      Verdict

Jimmy Moffatt won this in 2015 and 2016 with Captain Brown and Lough Kent was fourth last year. The local handler is responsible for four of the 12 declared runners with Dodgybingo looking the pick of his quartet but that one has ground to make up on WELLS DE LUNE. Amateur Peter Bryan gets on well with the top weight and the seven-year-old also won a lady riders’ handicap here five weeks ago, for which has been franked. A clear round would see another course and distance winner, Golden Jeffrey, in the firing-line but Hermanus was only third when attempting a hat-trick at Stratford on Thursday and Tamarillo Grove is best at Newton Abbot. Venue hasn’t shown much on the Flat this year so Our Kylie may be best of the rest.
