In depth

Verdict

Cruchain has won twice here off similar marks and is still capable of a prominent showing. Midnight Appeal is thrown in on past form but doesn't look the force of old. Houndscourt has been showing a bit more lately but was well behind Dystonia's Revenge here last July while though Ballycool has been slipping down the weights he struggles to stay this far. ABBEY STORM has his ground and is possibly best over this sort of trip nowadays. He is 9lb lower than when winning at Southwell in 2014 so will have no excuses today.
