The usual suspects on view and Armentieres is preferred to Flemming and Colway Ritz. Armentieres has the benefit of course-and-distance form. He seems to appreciate the application of a visor and his claimer's 10lb allowance should assist things greatly. Flemming has had a couple of pipe openers at Sedgefield. He has also won at the track albeit in March and any money would be significant. Colway Ritz was ninth in a non-seller at the track. That said, the race was a very weak Amateur riders race and the winner has done nothing to advertise the strength of that form. Southern Bazaar put up her best ever performance to finish fifth in a Market Rasen event. Approaching Land and Tiger Talk were well behind. Phase Eight Girl has dropped almost a stone in the weights over the last six months. A winner on fast ground - she would not want any overnight rain.Silver Dagger has no worthwhile form of late but has gone well for Barry Keniry in the past. The market is watched. Armentieres is at least in form so we will recommend him as the bet on this occasion.
