Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

A pretty weak affair and Rambling Minster should be up to landing first prize, Rare Society and Thyne Man look to be the main dangers. Keith Revelely's eight-year-old is relatively lightly raced as he didn't start his career until 2003. He was rated as high as 132 over hurdles but his trainer has always said he will make a better chaser. This doesn't look too taxing an event for his first venture over fences and he looks the one to be on. Rare Society came a cropper last time but had previously run with credit against some decent types including Theatre Knight and Napolitain, he looks an obvious threat to the selection. Thyne Man and Bellaney Jewel can also be given claims on their best form, however Rambling Minster could make a name for himself at this game, starting this afternoon.
