In depth

Verdict

Aliandy was well beaten when third at Warwick last time but may do better now handicapping for the first time and the latter comment also applies to Triumvirate. Discoverie posted a better effort when runner-up at Sedgefield on Boxing Day having started favourite and Beaumont's Party won at the latter track in November, though was well beaten off today's higher mark on his latest start. Baraboy has a shout off his current mark but is unreliable so a chance is taken on CAPTAIN REDBEARD opening his account over hurdles given he was placed in a higher grade contest than this at Haydock last month.
