In depth

Verdict

Extrasolar has won twice around here but has a lot to do at the weights while B Fifty Two was beaten 2l behind Hard Solution in a similar race at Hamilton and is only 1lb better off. The winner has much more scope and should be capable of winning again though ADAM'S ALE is a real fly in the ointment. Marjorie Fife's veteran is a long way clear on official ratings and though returning after a long break has made a habit of winning first-time back as he has for the past two years. It's difficult to see anything else getting involved at these weights though Alfred The Grey drops into this lowly grade for the first time.
