Verdict
An interesting race here and the market may well give a good guide as to what is expected of the newcomers but the principals look to be Prairie Sun, Goblin, Charlie Tango and Turks And Caicos and the confident vote goes to Prairie Sun. The selection has had plenty of experience over obstacles and a reproduction of his latest second behind Hold The Line would make him hard to beat. Goblin was a fair sort at up to ten furlongs on the flat and was a fair fourth over hurdles last time behind Siegfrieds Night. However he gives the impression he does not see out the trip and for that reason he is opposed. Charlie Tango was a frustrating horse on the flat but the switch to hurdles may make a man of him. He is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market. Turks And Caicos is from a yard that does well in this sphere and is another that should be noted in the market but a line on his best flat form leaves him with as little to find. This is a tough race to call but for the winner we return to Prairie Sun.
