Verdict

SLIP and Holden Eagle set the standard in this claimer but with fitness on his side we choose the first mentioned while Back To Paris looks best of the rest. As well as being fit from a couple of good runs over timber the pick also has terms in his favour. Jamie Spencer is an eye-catching jockey booking on this rare flat runner for Tim Vaughan and a big run is expected. Holden Eagle returns to action after 195 days away from the racecourse. He has gone well fresh in the past but the fact he is winless in 13 starts tell its own story, although, this rates as a drop in grade. Back To Paris should also be race sharp and doesn't have to find much at the weights now back down at this level while Castlebury makes his seasonal bow in a winnable race but he is up against it on these terms. A tight looking race this but Slip has most in his favour.
