In depth
Verdict
A competitive affair rounds off proceedings and the TEAMtalk selection is Kingston Venture he has been in fair form of late and was a good second last time out behind Field Master who has since franked the form. Sun King rates the main danger he is from a stable in good form and he travels well through out his races however he gives the impression he should win more than he does and for that reason he is passed over. Golden Thunderbolt was a fair third behind Hugo De Perro at Cartmel last time out but his best form is on very soft ground and he may find conditions a bit quick here. Tee-Jay would have a chance on his best form but he has become disappointing of late and he may be in the handicappers grip. Edmo Heights would also have a chance on his novice hurdle but he has looked a shadow of his former self since his return from injury. San Peire would have a chance on his best form but that has all been on fast ground.
