        Verdict

        Lady Stratagem was a good winner on her debut at Kelso when defeating Flamenca before disappointing in a listed hurdle at Wetherby. She will find the drop in grade to her liking and is the TEAMtalk selection despite giving weight away to all her rivals. Calatagan was placed over a mile and a half on the flat is from a shrewd stable and is sure to have been well schooled but he may be seen to even better effect over a longer trip than this over hurdles. Robbie Can Can showed a modicum of ability on his hurdles debut when fifth behind Do L'enfant d'eau at Huntingdon he will know more about the game here and he could easily run into a place. Effie Gray was well beaten in a seller last time out behind Lady Lap Dancer but this race does not look much better and he to has place prospects. College City showed a modicum of ability on the flat and if he stays he could go close in this desperate affair the remainder need to improve on all known form to take a hand in the finish. The debutantes do not stand out on breeding.
