Verdict
Little Venice has been improving steadily this season and now looks capable of winning a race. Nicely weighted here she should have little trouble picking up this race barring alarming improvement in any of the other runners. This trip looks sure to suit and the softer the ground the better. With George Duffield booked she is the TEAMtalk selection. Margold ran a decent race at Nottingham on her debut and should progress from that but her trainer's form is a worry. Bigalothegigalo is entitled to improve on his debut effort at Pontefract a couple of weeks ago and showed there his liking for soft ground. Best of the rest could be Mick Channon's Arry Dash but he could fall into the 'don't win on their third start' category. Phoenix Nights is not as good as the TV series.
