In depth
Verdict
This should come down to a straight fight between the two big stables with Luca Cumani going head to head with Sir Michael Stoute. Daliyana has the best racecourse form on show with his effort at Chepstow in July working out well. Slightly disappointing next time out she has been given a little break and should be ready to win a race of this standard. Katmandu is entitled to improve on his 4th place at Nottingham on his debut and should go close. October Mist is an interesting runner. A decent chaser last season this is his first ever Flat run though whether he will have the speed to cope is debatable. Little else appeals though Mark Johnston's runners are always worth a look at this meeting so watch for any market moves for Shanley.
