None of these inspire confidence but MOUNTAIN HAWK may improve for the step up in distance and return to faster going with Brian Hughes’ presence in the saddle another positive. Cudgel and Ask Paddy will need to step up on previous efforts over fences while several go chasing for the first time including Geordielandgangsta. The latter will be sharper for a recent spin over hurdles while Witham has placed over timber recently without threatening.
