Verdict
Friendly Advice and Woodside Wonder represent last year’s winning yard and the former had been in good form over shorter trips before struggling in soft ground at Chester. The latter found one too good when last racing over track and trip in July but Absolute Dream has plenty to prove on earlier efforts over 7f. Reeves drops in class and could figure with a visor replacing his usual headgear today but SELF ASSESSMENT (NAP) can be excused a below par run over a mile in heavy going last time and gets the vote racing off a 2lb lower mark than when finishing a close-up fourth over today’s distance at Chelmsford before that.
