Verdict

Piazon, Rego Park Lady and Seamster all won their penultimate starts with the latter successful in soft going over track and trip. It remains to be seen if Crosse Fire can follow up on his latest success at Southwell given he’s much better at the latter track than anywhere else and a chance is taken on FIERY BREATH. The latter was scoring off a higher mark last year with recent placed efforts suggesting a return to winning ways is imminent. Mightaswellsmile has a poor strike rate though is regularly placed here while recent course and distance third, Trulove, has yet to win anywhere in 30 outings.
