Verdict

KIAN'S DELIGHT won over 1m4f here in August and has scored three times subsequently, twice over hurdles and a Newmarket handicap last month. He's been raised 10lb for that latest success but has improved by more than that and looks set to complete a four-timer. Dual bumper winner Royal Swain has done well under Flat rules and won a handicap at Doncaster in May from just 2lb lower. He looks certain to get competitive while the softer the ground the better for L Frank Baum, who returned to form at Bath last time and is on the same mark. The veteran Bollin Felix does his best and is 1lb lower than when last successful on the level but Focail Maith has never raced beyond 1m3f so his ability to last out the trip on this ground has to be taken on trust.
