Verdict
Boga won this a year ago but has never been better than sixth subsequently and arrives in poor form. A low draw generally helps here so Georgebernardshaw couldn't be better berthed and he'll enjoy the conditions as will Northern Bolt though he's still looking a few pounds high. ALPHA TAURI has won four times in his career - all on Fibresand - but that means he's very well treated on Turf and showed with a fine run behind Sovereign Street at Hamilton last week that he's ready to gain his first victory away from Southwell. The three-year-old Gibraltar Road makes his handicap debut and should have more to give after just three maiden runs but the veteran Babyshambles has yet to prove he stays this trip and Maggie Mey has only won on faster going.
