Verdict
Provided she handles the ground, Roxanne Mill should be up to taking this, with Blue Power and Soaked perhaps the main dangers. Roxanne Mill has been in fairly consistent form throughout this season, including when taking a similar contest over course and distance on fast ground last month and then improving on that effort despite finishing runner up at Hamilton last time. Fergal Lynch again takes the mount here and if she isn't too inconvenienced by the cut in the ground then at these weights Roxanne Mill can score. Blue Power has plenty to find with the selection strictly on the book, but the colt was back to his best when beaten a head by Icenaslice on soft ground at Newcastle in June. A break since then won't have done any harm, and with similar conditions here he must come into the reckoning. Of the remainder Soaked would be an aptly named winner considering the deluge that has hit the country, and the veteran sprinter also enjoys these conditions. He was beaten in selling company at Musselburgh a couple of runs ago though and after a dismal effort at Pontefract last time he has a bit to prove again, so we will stick with Roxanne Mill to land the prize.
