Verdict
An interesting race for the grade can go to Surreptitious, who has obvious claims at the weights and gets the vote over Bright Sun and Pending, who both have solid chances of capitalizing if the selection fails to run its race for any reason. Halabaloo shaped as if a step up in trip was what was required to bring the best of her last time and she should appreciate the ease in grade this evening. Whereas Dream Easy appears to be getting the hang of things and could also figure prominently as things unfold. However, he already has a little to find with our hope and may again have to settle for a minor role. Which brings us back to Surreptitious, who has been patiently brought along and has already started to pay her way. The form of her maiden success received a decent boost when Violet Park got off the mark when she next raced. However, there also looked to be a fair bit more to come from Surreptitious, who can utilise her fillies allowance against some of these frustrating characters.
