In depth

Verdict

BIGBADBOY won a similar race at Nottingham in October and didn't reappear until Nottingham last week when he pulled too hard and finished mid-division. That will have blown the cobwebs away and he can reverse form with runner-up Dream Point, though the latter was an unlucky loser having failed to find a gap in the closing stages. Edgar Allan Poe won with a bit in hand at Beverley and may have found the ground too fast at Musselburgh next time but six-times winner Framley Garth is on a very long losing run. The lightly-raced Capla Lass has more scope than most of these and is one to note in the market. Winfola was engaged in the 5.20 at Beverley yesterday.
