In depth

Verdict

All Clenched Up has yet to build on bumper promise displayed last autumn but it's still early days and this is not a particularly strong contest. The O'Brien team has made a splendid start to the current campaign - operating at a 25 per cent strike rate - and now apply first-time headgear to the Fame And Glory mare. Ginger Du Val made a good start to life for her new yard at Worcester last month when still looking far from the finished article and should improve again. Ten Thousand Stars and Decora are noteworthy but PASQUALITA produced fair Flat form last season in France and David Pipe's import wouldn't have to be too special to score on debut here.
