In depth

Verdict

Fort De L'Ocean and Pillar Of Steel delivered major improvement on respective latest starts. The latter looks the most likely at the weights despite a 9lb hike as she appeared to score with plenty to spare. Conditions are fine for a follow-up but it's interesting to see Alistair Ralph pitch WHITE TURF in against the mare again despite finishing 26l adrift in that Worcester race. The latter went close on his previous two starts and was presumably well below par last time. He's given another chance at what could be a decent each-way price. Olympic Honour is running consistently well this term and should prove competitive for the Williams team.
