Its Ecco Boy is taken to follow up his recent Nottingham victory against some equally disappointing rivals, including Savile's Delight, Bella Beguine and Muqtadi. It was the latter who found the selection four lengths too good at Colwick Park, giving away six pound in the process, and although now meeting Karl Burke's charge off level weights, will find a rejuvenated opponent a tough nut to crack again. That victory was a first in 33 attempts for Its Ecco Boy who has been paying the penalty for a decent performance as a juvenile at York. Luckily for connections, he was not bought at the auction after Saturday's success, but they will probably have to sweat it out again after this race. Savile's Delight is also six pounds better off with the selection but the suspicion is that he needs more cut and he certainly won't get that here. Bella Beguine has it to do from stall 12 but is not that badly treated here. Even so, he and the rest have a job on to stop Its Ecco Boy from scoring again.
