In depth

Verdict

The ability to take and hold an early position is likely to be crucial and INNOCENTLY fits the bill. The Kheleyf gelding has finished close up on his last two starts and has gained all three career victories on good to firm ground over the minimum trip, making all on each occasion. Hopefully, he can do so once again. Noble Asset rates the prime danger, having performed well on all outings this term, all over 5f, including a decisive Musselburgh success. Recent efforts behind Peterkin and Pushkin Museum also read well and a competitive effort is highly likely. Lexington Rose may try to pick up the pacemakers late on and Bryan Smart's recent Carlisle scorer also merits respect.
