ISHETOO may be able to make every yard from the one box and defy topweight although he's likely to have Le Toreador for company from the off whilst Equuleus Pictor is no slouch. Any rain would be in favour of John Spearing's runner who had just enough cut in the ground to run close to his best at York whilst it would also raise the possibility of the field coming over to the stands' side which would negate the impact of his high draw to some extent. On the assumption that the rain stays away, Ishetoo makes some appeal as he's just 1lb higher than when winning a similar race at York in the summer. He's fitted with a visor for the first time which may sharpen him up sufficiently to hold his position from the off. Le Toreador likes to lead but could struggle to make every yard in this company and of more interest is Pavershooz who was well backed to win a valuable race at Doncaster only to run no race. He's won at this track and could well bounce back but is another that wouldn't want any rain. Neither Fathom Five nor Cape Vale will be inconvenienced by inclement conditions whilst Mondovi may benefit if they go too fast up front and is relatively unexposed. Hypnosis is something of a course specialist but this is too strong a race for her and Ishetoo can prove strongest of all.
